Transferring data

So you have already used cartographic data for your printed products and now you would like to transfer this data into a digital format? Then simply submit the original material to us in Freehand or Illustrator. Using automated procedures, LOGIBALL is able to transfer the database into a geo-referenced shape format and converge it into a data pool suitable for navigation.

Possible redundancies in the geometries (for example due to feature-specific layers, map page overlapping or various product lines) can be traced back to individual attributed geometries relating to layers. The newly created database is now ready for further processing – either for mapping, routing or navigation solutions. Of course once the procedure is complete, it is also possible to integrate your data into NAVTEQ or Tele Atlas navigation data.

This service provided by LOGIBALL means that cartographic publishers for example can, with very little effort, digitally process their existing material to then put it into a navigation system.
